"It's about our contracts, and the wages and benefits we fought so hard for, for our job security, and of course patient safety. Let's work and support each other, make it better for all members. Let us continue to keep SEIU UHW united and make our contract stronger. Mabuhay! SEIU UHW.
--Eva Billups, CNA, new alternate at St. Joseph-Stockton

"I'm glad to be doing this for myself and my co-workers."
--Frank Valdez, Transport, new bargainer at St. Joseph-Stockton

"I'm a first time member of any Union. I voted on Thursday for the bargaining committee. It was interesting. The Union Representatives were cordial and professional. I was invited to take part in counting the votes. The Representatives answered my questions concerning Union Contracts and other matters. I want to thank May, Josie, Angel and Sherri for their support and professionalism."
--Elaine Calaway, PBX Operator, observed the vote count--the FIRST public vote count ever at St. Joseph-Stockton
