Same Employer, Same Quality Care…
Why not the same benefits for all DOC employees?
Every Daughters of Charity patient receives the same high quality of care–no matter which hospital facility they visit. So why does Management treat us differently depending on the facility where we work? It makes no sense.
Did you know…
- Management won’t extend the 403 (b) match program to Seton and Coastside employees, but if you work at O’Connor, Saint Louise, or St. Francis, you have an additional retirement plan? That makes no sense.
- Management forces St. Francis employees to pay $228 for their family per year for their own dental and vision plan, while those who work other Daughters of Charity hospitals have it fully funded? Makes no sense.
- St. Francis employees don’t have extended sick leave, yet workers at the four other DOC facilities have four paid days per year? No sense.
We Have a Sensible Solution
One Level of Care = One Level of Benefits THAT MAKES SENSE
- We propose that the 403 (b) match program be phased in for Seton employees over the life of our contract. Now that makes sense.
- All DOC employees receive employer-paid dental and vision care. That makes sense.
- Extend the four-day extended sick leave for St. Francis employees who have worked 10 years or more. Makes sense.
