The SEIU International Executive Board has just agreed to commit the strength of ALL TWO MILLION SEIU members behind our fight to win a strong National Agreement at Kaiser.
These two million workers are now standing with us to stop Kaiser from destroying the Partnership, outsourcing our jobs, slashing our benefits, and cutting wages.
Included in its strongly-worded resolution, the SEIU International Executive Board states:
- We demand that Kaiser Permanente resume national bargaining with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions no later than July 15, 2018, and make every reasonable effort to reach a successor National Agreement by September 30, 2018;
- If Kaiser fails to resume bargaining and make reasonable efforts to reach a successor agreement, the International President will establish a Kaiser Coalition National Support Committee, comprised of leaders from across our union, the purpose of which shall be to monitor developments in the relationship with Kaiser and take appropriate actions to support our SEIU brothers and sisters in Kaiser bargaining units.
