SEIU-UHW members at Kaiser officially started bargaining today for our next great contract.
2015 Kaiser National Bargaining
United in SEIU-UHW, we have a 70-year track record of winning great contracts. As part of the 100,000 member-strong Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions, we have the strength and the plan to do it again in 2015.
National bargaining for our new contract began on March 30, 2015. We kicked off national bargaining with 30 walk-a-thon events at Kaiser facilities across California. Our message to Kaiser: we improve our health, and you don’t touch our fully-paid family healthcare.
Led by our elected 2015 Kaiser Bargaining Team, we are ready to win another contract that protects our pensions, our healthcare, and our job security—and has raises too.
SEIU-UHW represents 45,000 Kaiser Permanente employees in California. Working together with Kaiser Permanente, SEIU-UHW members have improved wages and healthcare benefits and have launched innovative programs like the Total Health Incentive Plan to help members improve our health and get a bonus for it too.
SEIU-UHW, Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions are jointly announcing the launch of the Total Health Incentive Plan, a groundbreaking plan that takes a new approach to workplace wellness.
