Final 2026 Leadership Election Vote Count Results

In compliance with Article XXII of the Constitution and Bylaws, a secret ballot election, conducted by mail, beginning on February 25, 2026, and ending on March 25, 2026, for the SEIU-UHW Executive Board: All members will vote to elect a President, a Vice-President, and eight (8) members of the Executive Committee, elected union-wide.

Within each of UHW’s two divisions (Hospitals and Kaiser), members will also vote to elect: Twenty-five (25) additional members of the Executive Committee. Each division is entitled to fill one (1) divisional Executive Committee position for every 5,000 members in the division, by geography, as follows:

Hospitals – 12 positions
Kaiser – 13 positions

Two hundred and fifty-seven (257) Executive Board Members allocated by division and geography, one (1) Executive Board position for every 500 members, as follows:

Hospitals – 118 positions
Kaiser – 139 positions

Four (4) Advisors to the Executive Board— one (1) Ethics Officer and one (1) Financial Officer for each of the two divisions.

Hospitals – one (1) Ethics Officer & one (1) Financial Officer
Kaiser – one (1) Ethics Officer & one (1) Financial Officer

Two (2) Retiree Member Representatives (1 per division)

Hospitals – 1 position
Kaiser – 1 position

• Ballots mailed: February 25, 2026
• Deadline to receive ballots: 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026
• Ballot count: starts 9 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026
