July 21: SEIU-UHW Members Are On Fire This Summer!

SEIU-UHW members are turning up the heat this summer with powerful contract victories that are raising standards across the state. Workers at Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, Chinese Hospital, and Gladman & Villa Fairmont Mental Health Centers have all ratified strong new agreements that deliver real improvements on wages, benefits, and job security. UHW members are proving once again that when we fight together, we win together—and this summer, we’re just getting started.


June 27: Planned Parenthood California Central Coast Ratified 

Planned Parenthood Central Coast workers ratify first-ever union contract with 100% YES vote! After months of organizing, bargaining, and preparing to strike, PPCCC workers unanimously voted to ratify a strong first contract. The agreement includes raises, improved staffing language,  stronger workplace protections, and a voice in decisions that impact patient care. Most importantly, it sets a powerful foundation for the future.


June 12: Vibra Sacramento Ratified 

Vibra Sacramento workers ratified a strong 4-year contract with an overwhelming 99% YES vote! The new agreement includes across-the-board raises over four years, protects healthcare benefits, expands tuition reimbursement, and more. 


June 10: Motion Picture & Television Fund Ratified their Contract

After months of tough bargaining and two powerful pickets, healthcare workers at the Motion Picture & Television Fund ratified a new 3 year contract. The agreement includes significant across-the-board wage increases, retroactive pay, and—most importantly—no takeaways to healthcare. This victory reflects the strength and unity of MPTF workers standing together for what they deserve.
