I have worked for Kaiser Permanente for seven years, and I have been a shop steward for five years. I am running for the executive committee seat in the East Bay to continue advocating for healthcare works and continue supporting my Union brothers and sisters in maintaining the best contract in the Healthcare Industry. I support a recognition and bonus for Healthcare workers who have put their livers on the line during the pandemic, in which loss and hardship overwhelmed a vast majority of my fellow union brothers and sisters. I participated in our 2019 bargaining, and I believe the next round of negotiations will be challenging. We will need to be united and prepared to keep our benefits and pay intact. I locked arms with our Northern California gardeners when they were under attack and on the verge of losing their jobs. I will continue to speak out and fight against the reduction of employment against union members. I am passionate and feel I would bring a lot of good qualities to this role. Most importantly, I would continue to support the East Bay in creating a stronger leadership and communication among our union brothers and sisters.
