Healthcare justice is so important. It’s one of the main reasons I’m running to be a member of the Executive Board. Fighting for what’s right and getting justice when something is unfair has always been a part of who I am. Fighting to try to make my voice and the voice of others heard is why I entered the medical field. The lack of knowledge many of us have makes us believe unjust actions are normal when they come our way. I want to make a change and help people know that when they go through difficult times they have someone they can communicate with and come to for help. I want to be part of a support system they can count on and be a leader who shows them the positive parts of healthcare justice. I want to help them know and understand we have a voice and the right to be heard. When we all become one voice, we’re heard all across and that’s how change is made. I know that as of the Executive Board, I will be able to make a change with the support of our members. Our voice together can make a difference.
