I believe that I would be the best candidate because my coworkers trust me to be an honest leader, treating every member equally. I am passionate about my commitment to helping my coworkers and I am a reliable resource anytime they need it. Healthcare justice matters to me because my family, my coworkers, and my coworkers’ families rely it. We work hard and have committed our lives to raising our families to the best of our ability. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck, and any takeaways from our healthcare can make a huge negative impact on us, and our children’s health. Because of the expense, it could put fear into them not to go and get treatment. It is important to me to continue to fight for healthcare justice so that the people in my community and the patients that I’ve had the privilege of caring for can continue to be cared for without the fear of large medical bills.
