Temporary Housing

Statewide Hotel Program: At our urging, Governor Newsom took action to address our housing needs by rolling out a program that provides hotel rooms close to our facilities for healthcare workers who have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19. Click here to learn more apply.

To be eligible, you must:

    • Work at a healthcare facility in California
    • Have possible exposure to patients or individuals who may have COVID-19 documented by a state or county public health official or medical professional
    • Not have the ability to self-isolate or quarantine at home

Cost: For all but the highest earning of our members, the hotel rooms will be fully paid for by the program.


Relief for Renters and Homeowners: Statewide Moratorium on Evictions and Foreclosures

On April 6, the California Judicial Council adopted an emergency court rule that stops all evictions and foreclosures in the state for the duration of the COVID-19 emergency (other than those necessary to protect public health and safety).

This new court rule will apply until 90 days after the governor lifts the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more here.
