We had agreed to meet on June 12, 2023 to begin contract negotiations. Local managers released members of your bargaining team and we started putting together our contract proposals. On June 8, management canceled the date. We decided to meet anyway, taking advantage of the time took advantage of the time to finish drafting our proposals to fight for

  • Wages to keep up with inflation, and a minimum wage of $25
  • Fully paid health care
  • Safe staffing

What now? We all need to work together to win!
When Fresenius canceled our bargaining date, we got to work! Within 72 hours, 65% of us had signed a letter to our President, Dennis Kogod, demanding they set dates for bargaining, show up, and bargain in good faith. We delivered these letters to our managers, and we emailed the letter to Kogod. We’ll also file an Unfair Labor Practice Charge at the National Labor Relations Board for failure to bargain in good faith.
