Protecting Our Voice on the Job for Better Care at Cedars-Sinai

“I’m proud to work at Cedars-Sinai and I love my patients. I’ve been here for 16 years. It’s important for me to have a voice on the job, to continue to make our hospital a safe and great place to get care.”

Yudis Cruz, Clinical Partner

Experienced caregivers are an invaluable resource for improving hospital care. At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, thousands of hard-working caregivers provide the best care possible, a clean and sterile environment, and we make sure Cedars-Sinai remains a world-class hospital. In 2019, we stood up to protect our voice on the job, for better staffing to always ensure quality patient care, and to secure a middle-class future for our families — and we won! Our agreement with management helped set a precedent for other caregivers in the area and gave our patients confidence in the care they’ll continue to receive at our hospital.

Now we’re working on addressing some of the staffing and high workload issues at our hospital that could affect patient care. If you work at Cedars-Sinai and want to learn more about what we’re doing, please contact Esmie Grubbs at 323-246-9006 today.
